ISALU is a very important community (Socially Economically, Culturally and religiously) in ISEYIN Town of Oyo State, Nigeria, with about 40% of total population of ISEYIN. Islam as a noble religion started informally in ISLAM Community Mid 1850?s or thereabout. This informal trend, due to many uncertainties of that period such as inter-tribal wars, slave trade, etc, continued till 1820?s when the first set of mosques began to spring up in ISALU such as ISALE BABA MOSQUE which is quickly followed by ADEGOKE AGANGANNIJO MOSQUE that same period. 

In early 1990s more mosques started springing up as the population and adherents increased in number, these include: 
1. AROWOJEDE MOSQUE
2. AGBOLAOWO MOSQUE
3. PAPA MOSQUE
4. ADETA MOSQUE

With about sixteen mosques spread across the ISALU Community,the idea of a Central Mosque was conceived for Friday Jumat Service which,hitherto, many adherents have to travel as far as five or six kilometers to observe the weekly Jumat Service. Therefore, in 1996, the first central Mosque commenced Jumat Service with Late Alhaji Sheu Agbeniga as the First Chief Imam with two Chief Preachers Alhaji Tajudeen Adegoke Ojasope and Mallam Abdul?Ganiyy Uthman Alubarikaloju with Mallam Abdul Hafez Yussf as Chief Tafsir.

After four years existence of the central Mosque, the maiden Imam passed on (may his soul rest in perfect peace)which led to the installation of a new and current Imam in person of our revered elder Sheik Abdul Hamed Aribidesi. More mosques therefore sprang up with the existing ones such as:

1. OLOKUTA I MOSQUE
2. OLUKUTA II MOSQUE
3. ABOOMI MOSQUE
4. POPOOLA/IDOWU MOSQUE

With the high number of worshippers on every Jumat service,it becomes imperative to build a more modern and conducive central mosque to conveniently and comfortably accommodate over 3000 worshippers.

Consequently, a N5,000,000 (Five Million Naira) Appeal Fund and Turbaning Ceremony of Dignitary members of Islam community was launched in February 2009 when about N1.9 Million was realized. It is this amount realized that encourage us to pull down the old structure and commence putting up the new one on direct labour which so far has cost us N2,280,000 (TWO MILLION,TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHTY THOUSAND NAIRA ONLY) as listed on Financials link.
